Outgoing female with a bubbly personality seeks devoted companion to share long walks, good cuddles and a lifetime of memories LUCY - 1-2 year old Boxer-mix. Lucy was living with a homeless man in Atlanta who relinquished her because he realized he could not provide for her. Unfortunately, this was a high kill shelter and Lucys days were numbered. Thankfully, she was rescued in time, but she was still under-weight and heartworm positive. After heartworm treatment and gaining a couple pounds, Lucy spent only two weeks with our trainer learning basic commands, leash manners, and housebreaking before she passed with flying colors! This young lady has the graceful stride of a Greyhound and enjoys a good game of fetch. She loves to give hugs and is always eager to listen when you come home from a tough day at work. Lucy is whiling to please you and truly will do whatever you want to do. Lucy would be great for an active family since she is young and full of energy. Lucy should be in a single-pet household only.
