SMILEY MILEY. 8-year-old Pit Bull Terrier - Our wonderful girl is another face of dog fighting in America and for the first six years her life was a living hell. She was kept in a basement to be one day killed in a fight and used for breeding to raise puppies. All she knew was being hurt by people and other dogs, spending her days in darkness or neon light in a confined space with a concrete floor. After being forced to get pregnant again and again, her babies were taken away from her and also used as bait or sold. Look at her face and you can see the scars of years of fighting for her life. Her tongue is shredded in pieces and chunks of her face were missing. She is with us for a while and had to undergo many surgeries and treatments to finally get her as healthy and beautiful as she is now. Until she was saved by us, she never saw sunlight, her paws never touched grass and she never felt a loving touch. She still has a worried look on her face even while wagging her tail, no wonder after all the horror she experienced most of her life. We taught her how to play and be happy to be a dog. She now loves all kind of balls and toys but prefers not to share them. She collects all balls and surrounds herself with them. Shes never ever shown any aggression towards people or children. All she does is give kisses. She loves affection and is nothing but a sweet lapdog. Her life of horror has not changed her loving spirit. She would do best as the only dog in the household and with her own yard, where she can run and play. The children should be a little older. She will make a lucky family a wonderful family member. She is vaccinated, spayed, house and crate trained, microchipped, heartworm negative. All our dogs are professionally temperament tested and evaluated.
